The restoration
of the grade II* Larmer Tree Gardens which was designed in the 19th
century by the estate owner, General Pitt Rivers, as a place for
public recreation and concerts with a collection of Indian buildings
acquired by the General. Walshe Associates continued the Indian
theme by designing and building an Indian style folly that now stands
at the end of the vista up from the main house on the estate.
