A 9 hole
golf course was introduced into this 19th century historic park
and garden with its distinctive mature Wellingtonias (with a further
9 holes outside of the park) in a way which minimised the visual
and physical impact of the golf course on the parkland such that
it continues to read as parkland with no bunkers, a minimum of earth
moulding and yellow flags to the greens.
